Nursing Emergencies

Think like an ED nurse! This one-day seminar is designed to help nurses shift to a rapid response mode when faced with emergency situations with their patients. Using the same thinking skills as Emergency Department nurses use, your students will be able to rapidly assess and respond to crisis.

Critical thinking skills are stressed by presenting the content in a way that helps nurses understand the priorities in a crisis along with prompt treatment strategies. A comparison chart is included at the end of each section for fast reference.

This seminar is intended to help nurses rapidly identify problems and initiate appropriate interventions to prevent complications.
